This is to inform everyone planning to travel to South Africa that a new law was passed a few months ago stipulating that all visitors to South Africa are required to have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued.

  • If there is insufficient space in the passport, entry will be denied and the person is likely to be detained pending return to their country of origin.
  • Please advice us well in advance, should you have any special dietary requirements.
  • It is of utmost importance that you thoroughly check your visa requirements before your intended date of travel, as Safari 2 Africa cannot be held responsible should the necessary visa requirements not be fulfilled.
  • Prices given to us are based on supplier's charges to us and include the 1% tourism levy (hotels only).
  • We reserve the right to amend our rates in the event of changes in direct costs to us.
  • Insurance is recommended to cover baggage, as we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to passengers' belongings.
  • Cancellation and medical insurance is also recommended.

3. Method of Payment
Payments are processed with  Visa and Master Card Payments can also be paid directly into Luxury African Travel's account.

However, all payment must be made in full and free of any bank charges. Please note that should you have been quoted in US Dollars and wish to settle payment by means of a credit card, your quotation will be converted to South African Rands prior to the transaction being processed. The Dollar/Rand rate of exchange on the day that the transaction is processed will be used to determine the equivalent Rand amount. The South African Reserve Bank prohibits South African companies from taking foreign credit card payments and keeping the payment in a foreign currency. The payment has to be converted to South African Rands before it is credited to the recipient. You are welcome to settle payment by means of a bank transfer should you prefer – in this instance the amount will not be converted to South African Rands.
